Creating in Namibia

From 2018 to 2019, after a short sojourn in South Africa, the artist continues her exploration of interlacing collage to photography. Inspired by the bright motifs of African textile, Douyon creates a surprising pictorial language, marrying the softness of Radu Juster’s portraits of Namibian women, with the boldness of geometric figures.
